The week has scooted by in a hurry. Our friend George has been a real blessing doing those odds and ends on the house and property to make it ready to sell. We are praying that God will send someone soon to make an offer on our house so that minor burden will be removed for retirement. Plans are progressing for our move and for my new teaching positions. We are off to Savannah later today for a family wedding.
Melodie and I are singing "Jesus Never Fails" as a testimony of what God has done in our lives on Sunday at FBC Kingsland. We get three chances to get it right with three services but Jesus got it right the first time.
I shared "My First Helicopter Ride" story with a couple of school administrators today as a devotion after re-reading it myself and getting emotional. Then, Melodie sends me her testimony and I really get emotional. All is good because our God is good.
We have a day set aside soon for a background check for my job and to check some housing possibilities. I also hope we can stop in and say hello at both job locations.
I'm a wanna be writer but only dabble with personal stories and illustrations. My true joy is my relationship with God and family. Then comes the music and technology. I'm writing a children's book called Goose Freedom.
