The changes and challenges in January 2017 have been many but we are persevering and will continue on as our Lord leads us. I do have a new part time job as a Seasonal Segway Tour Guide at the Omni Plantation that I will actually start next week. I have also taken on a new website for Paw Paws Pet Rescue, Inc and have almost got it completed and that leaves occasional updates to maintain for the future. Medically things have been a bit rough. We had eye appointments the first week of the month and I was fine but Teresa had an eye issue that has been fixed with medication. One of her glasses lenses was scratched and it is being replaced and she gets real sun glasses for her beach time. I had a colonoscopy last week and a 20mm Polyp was removed and follow ups are to come including a repeat check in a year. I also had a prostate biopsy yesterday that was quite a painful experience but today the pain has subsided. A follow up visit is next Monday for results. We believe God has control whatever the outcome and it is within His will for Him to receive glory and honor. The weather has been cool for too long now but it will not last much longer. We continue to enjoy and relish our new friends and church here on the island. Oh yeah, I'm still working on my book along with some other items I wish to publish.
It is going to be an exciting year. I'm preparing to begin work with the Omni Plantation as a Seasonal Segway Tour Guide, working more with Computers ETC Inc and that leaves more leisure time for Teresa and I. We are both actively involved in our church and separate Bible Study groups too. Hopefully this weekend will be the coldest of the year and we can get back to shorts real soon.
I'm a wanna be writer but only dabble with personal stories and illustrations. My true joy is my relationship with God and family. Then comes the music and technology. I'm writing a children's book called Goose Freedom.
